Veteran Executive Coaching

I am a veteran who had to learn how to live in the civilian world. I was enlisted in the USAF and transitioning to the civilian world was difficult. I had to learn a different way to communicate in order to succeed. I had to learn some soft skills and how to build relationships with teams that had never learned the urgency that being in a war zone created. This is why I am helping veterans who are executives (or want to become one) how to build the skills that are needed in the civilian world to be successful. 

I use scientifically proven techniques to help you learn to deepen your ability to be more introspective to your leadership style, teach about other leadership styles and then teach you how to maneuver these styles as you come into different situations. We then do scenario training to get you used to leading in the different styles. I work with you for a minimum of 6 months to help you be successful with this transition. After you are done with my program, I am still available on an as needed basis to provide guidance on situations that you may come up against. 

I offer personality and leadership style testing as part of my program. I partner with the Myers- Briggs program to get you personality testing which helps you define your style and then I help you identify other common styles and how to work with them. I partner with the D.I.S.C model to get you your leadership style, teach you about the other types and how to work with them. I also do other testing to help you define your strengths and weaknesses and show you how to make the best of your strengths and how to manage your weaknesses.

As you know in the military the General tells his team what to do and then they execute the order no mater what. In the civillian world successful leaders collaborate with their teams to find solutions. I will teach you how to collaborate using your leadership style so that you are more successful. 

Even if you don't know how to use Microsoft Office products, I will teach you haw to use excel, and PowerPoint to create impactful presentations and help you with public speaking if needed.
